Here’s tonight’s homework, in case you can’t find your copy or didn’t pick one up:
Solve each system, using any algebraic method (substitution or elimination).
- 4x + 3y = 26
16x – 2y = 4 - -x + y = -10
-2x + y = -10 - -2y + 5x = 15
y = x – 3

16x-2y=4
4x+3y=26 ms.krishnan i really dt get this
-16x-12y=-104 problem because i think i did this
-14y=-4 wrong
y=7.1428571429
MY BAD! That second equation should read 16x + 2y = 4. Good catch, Emma!
(you still get full credit if you solve the other one correctly, though… but it won’t have whole number answers.)
