Here’s a hint: you have to multiply both equations (by different numbers) to make the coefficients match up.
10x-6y=12
-10x+20y=100
10x cancel out
-6y=12
20y=100
14y=-88
y= -6.28571429

you should have added 12 and 100 instead of subtracting, since they are both positive.
10x=50
divide both sides by 10
and you get
x=5
